These days I identify primarily as a ceramic artist, but prior to discovering clay, I worked as a collage artist. Because of COVID closures, I once again turned to paper.

I am interested in how clay has motion, how it is ground down with time and how it is molded and coaxed and fired into a solid substance once again. Like my ceramic works, my works on paper focus on motion as well. By focusing on the surface tension between the inks and papers, I begin by creating creeping forms by manipulating the ink and paints with my breath.
