Herkimer Diamond Crystal earrings(drop style)

The large Herkimer diamond, accented with lacquer and gold leaf, sways like a “nut” in these earrings. The earrings are made of K18 gold. The texture of the rough stones and the gold leaf give the earrings the feel of antique jewelry found in archaeological sites.

Size: Herkimer diamond crystals are about 10.5-11.5 mm at the longest part.

*The part covered with the gold leaf may peel off when it is rubbed, but changing appearance of the rough stone and the gold leaf increase the atmosphere of antique jewelry, and you can enjoy this jewelry by using it for a long time.

【Herkimer Diamond】 The Herkimer Diamond is a natural rock crystal from Herkimer in upstate New York. It is a grainy crystal with pointed ends, and is so beautiful and transparent that it is called a diamond. It is a miraculous crystal created by a variety of environmental conditions such as high pressure in a rock composed mainly of dolomite! The actual stratum where Herkimer diamonds are found is said to be 450 million years old or 500 million years old.
