Minsa Weaving Pattern Wood Ring

Minsa weaving, a traditional Okinawan pattern, is a combination of five ■ and four ■. Five ■ represent “forever” and four ■ represent “the world”, meaning “Love will continue forever”. It is made using the traditional Japanese technique of marquetry that the colors of the wood are made use of to create the pattern, which is represented by Hakone marquetry. In Japan, we have received many orders for this ring as a commemorative gift for the fifth year of marriage (wooden wedding ceremony). If you are concerned about the thickness of the ring, we recommend wearing it on your index finger.

沖縄の伝統模様であるミンサー織りは ■が五つと■が四つを組み合わせた模様で、五つの■が「いつの」、四つの■が「世」を表し「いつの世までも末永く」という意味になります。箱根寄木細工に代表される木材の色を生かして模様を作る寄木という日本の伝統技法で作っています。日本では結婚5年目（木婚式）の記念品としてたくさんご注文をいただいています。指輪の厚みが気になる方は人差し指での着用をお勧めしています。
