This work focuses mainly on the ability that textiles have to liberate us emotionally. My process is very cathartic. My work is sustainable in that I use 100% organic and biodegradable materials, and often repurpose waste and found objects. I save scraps knowing that I will give them new life someday. This collection focuses on the idea of playing dress-up. I want people who interact with my work to feel free to perform, play, explore their identities, and express radical vulnerability. I believe that fabric can be a catalyst for celebration and community worship.
