Artist’s Website

In “Bloom”, I try to represent and reinterpret moments of evolving nature. I apply traditional basketry patterns and techniques, which can be thought of as units and modules in the slow yet systematic building process of our nature. The basketry weaving creates an organic unity of a firm structure while establishing a character of a unique curvature. A usage of transparent monofilament adds to bringing out underlying mystic features and uncountable facets of our remarkable nature.

「ブルーム」では、進化する自然の瞬間を表現し、再解釈しようとしています。 私は伝統的なかご細工のパターンと技法を適用します。これは、私たちの性質の遅いが体系的な構築プロセスのユニットとモジュールと考えることができます。 バスケット織りは、独特の湾曲の特徴を確立しながら、堅固な構造の有機的な統一を生み出します。 透明なモノフィラメントの使用は、私たちの驚くべき性質の根底にある神秘的な特徴と数え切れないほどの側面を引き出すことに追加されます。
