This time, I have exhibited two pieces from the concept “Manarism” that I showcased last year in Japan. I photographed vegetables from a New York farmer’s market as if they were human subjects. Just as humans have individual personalities, vegetables also have unique characteristics, and I had a great time capturing them.

For the expression, I used a digital camera to take the photos, then created films and printed them on fiber paper in a darkroom. I also added acrylic paint on top. By combining both digital and analog techniques, I aimed to express the unique characters of the vegetables.
