When facing a tree, I express the vitality it gives me. I used the technique of paper printing to capture the texture of the tree’s bark, utilizing the surface irregularities of the paper and the shadows created by layering the paper. Since the method involves layering printmaking ink using a roller and transferring it onto washi paper, each piece is unique, making it a monoprint.

ある樹を向き合うとき、その樹が私に与えてくれる生命力を表現しています。
樹の肌が持つ質感を紙の表面の凹凸や紙を重ね合わせてできる陰影を活かせる紙版画の手法を用いました。
版画用インクをローラーを使って色を重ね和紙に写し取る方法なので同じ作品はできないモノプリントです。

I depicted the perspective of a bird gazing at the trees. The trees are shown leaning towards each other, swaying in the wind. To express the image of the wind, I used various materials such as paper and gauze on the plate. The base trees are created using the monoprint technique, where printmaking ink is layered with a roller and transferred onto washi paper, making each piece unique. The moon and flying birds are added with acrylic gouache.

樹と樹が寄り添いながら、風に吹かれる様子を描いています。
風のイメージを表現するために、紙やガーゼなど、いくつかの素材を版に使用しています。
ベースの樹々は版画用インクをローラーを使って色を重ね和紙に写し取る方法なので同じ作品はできないモノプリントです。
月や飛ぶ鳥は、アクリルガッシュで書き加えています。
