Moku Lock was born from the idea of creating a toy for children to feel the charm of nature by utilizing the local resources of Yamagata, a region blessed with nature, and combining the local industrial resources of manufacturing technology and local wood. The product is mainly made of wood that is too small in diameter, too crooked to be good wood, and too low in value to be used mainly as wood chips.
自然に恵まれた山形の地域資源を活用し、子どもたちへ自然の魅力を感じれるおもちゃを創る、というアイデアから始まった“もくロック”は、地域の産業資源であるモノづくりの技術と、地元の木材をかけ合わせて生まれた商品です。 ※径が細く曲がっていたり良材にはなれなく、木材チップ等が主な用途となる利用価値の低い木を主に使っています。
