All RIVERET products are made of natural moso bamboo. The material, moso bamboo, is a natural resource that can be used repeatedly with a minimum amount of land, and is one of the effective ways to utilize resources to control deforestation, which is one of the causes of environmental problems. The craftsmanship of this product conveys a tangible message to the next generation of craftspeople who “live with nature.
Design
The design is intended to convey the beauty of the natural materials and the excellent craftsmanship in a deeper and clearer way. We propose unprecedented natural tableware that blends into a variety of everyday situations without being limited by design.
Craft
Bamboo, which is more than twice as strong as ordinary wood, has tended to be avoided in delicate cutting and processing. Through trial and error, we have been able to create the beautiful lines and delicate form that we have today.

RIVERET（リヴェレット）の製品はすべて天然の孟宗竹で作られております。素材である孟宗竹は、最小限の土地で繰り返し利用可能な天然資源であり、環境問題の一因である森林伐採を抑制する有効な資源活用法のひとつ。「自然と共に生きる」職人の技で伝える次の時代へのかたちあるメッセージ。

天然素材の美しさと、卓越した職人の技をより深く鮮明に伝えるためのデザイン。しっくりと手に馴染むこだわりの曲線と、盛り付ける食材を引き立てる自然の風合い、デザイン性だけにとらわれることなく、普段使いとしてさまざまなシーンに溶け込む、今までにないナチュラルテーブルウェアを提案します。
Craft
一般的な木材と比べ、倍以上の強度を持つ竹は、繊細な削り出し加工には敬遠されがちでした。RIVERETでは1988年より研究開発を始め、竹の育成から製材、加工技術まですべてを一から見直し、さまざまな試行錯誤によって、現在の美しいラインと繊細なフォルムを創り出すことが可能となりました。
