– Life with wood, Life with forest.
We manufacture wooden tableware using wood cut down from the forests of Hokkaido. We are devising product designs and coatings to make products that are useful in our lives by making the most of local wood.
First, we use Japanese alder wood, a fast-growing, renewable hardwood. Alder, which has been consumed as wood chips and biomass, will be used as wood products to increase the added value of forests.
Next is a safe, high-performance coating. The surface of the wood is protected by a thin vitreous film, which prevents food stains from sticking to it, and the paint film does not deteriorate easily and lasts a long time. It requires no maintenance and can serve both hot and cold food, making it a very practical tableware.
